Merger plans
An interesting article below regarding a potential summer merger with Chelsea.

Plans are in place for Chelsea and West Ham United to merge this summer. While negotiations are at an early stage, it is thought the plan would help Chelsea to escape from the ownership struggles they have endured since Roman Abramovich was sanctioned by the UK government in March, and a merger with West Ham United would help the new club to escape those financial sanctions and pool resources to challenge for the league title next season.

Details are to be finalised, but it is thought the names 'Chelsea Ham United' and 'Chelsea Ham London' are under serious consideration. However, the potential merger has been met with a lukewarm reception by supporters of the rival London clubs. Olaf Pirlo, a Chelsea season ticket holder, said "While our ownership situation is less than ideal, a merger with those guys over in East London is unthinkable and must be fought tooth and nail."

Re: Merger plans
That's the thing about comedy. It's not about the joke but how, and who, delivers it. And the individual perception of that person

If Charlie Farley or Ted Fenton, for example, posted this, the reactions would have been full of Ag Ag Ags, and general bonhomie.

Maybe start again, COYI, with a different user name. But this time, stop acting like a little boy who seeks validation from strangers.
